The True Story Behind the Deeds

I was quite pissed off when my mum told few hours ago that one of my relative (from my mother's side) had started bragging us to pay back the loan we had borrowed for me to purchase my car and for my brother wedding. While, if it is in a normal condition, I would had reacted in a more positive way. However, it is too bad that I was suffering froma very bad gastric, due to the fasting practice I made since few days ago (I started my fasting from 7am-7pm daily).

When I got the news from my mum, the first thing I asked her back was who was the one who started all this bragging. And apparantly, it was not the uncle who had borrowed me the money, but is from someone else. I was pissed because she made me sound like I am a swindler, who had borrowed people money, but refused to returned it. As the matter of fact, I had been saving money for the payment, but I will only pay back when my uncle came back to Melaka (he is currently working in Thailand). I began to wonder why my relative want to make a big fuss out of this matter, and sounded like we are imcapable of paying back.

I started to wonder what was the loaning's motive in the first place. Was it because my relative just want to help us out?? Or they just trying to make an opportunity to lend us the money, and return mocked us in front of others, saying bad thing about my family. I didn't overrule the latter motive, as history has been proven that my relative (my mother's side) had done this quite a number of time to us. I wonder is it that I was too sensitive this time, or is my intuition got me this time.

Whatever it is, all I will do this time is to repay back all my loan in the shortest time. This means that I need to default my PTPTN loan for sometime before I can repay it back. All I had in my mind is to repay the loan to my so-called relatives, and then had nothing to do with them anymore. If not because of my mum, I would had severe my ties with them. But then.......I did not do so because I do not want to made my mum sad and stuck in the middle.....

My Boring Holiday Officially Started...

My factory is operating for its last day today before it shut down for one whole week in conjunction with Deepavali and Hari Raya Puasa, which is next week. So, my boirng life begins after I stepped out of the factory at 5pm just now. However, I was forced to take 2 unpaid leave, because I had just taken my annual leave last 2 weeks to visit my friends, who are currently situated in KL. So, this means I will be RM 118 poorer next month...

Most of my friends asked me how am I going to spent my holiday next week. Well, the only answer I can gave was just spent my whole week doing some leisure reading. Guess what?? All of them shoot me straight, asking why I am leading such a boring life. Even my best friend (the one I had feeling on her) sms me back and ask me to expand my social life, because she was worried that I will soon go crazy if I continue to be that way. However, it is hard for a person like me, whose friendship circle is so small to have a social life expanded. Anyway, I am glad that she really take great care about me, so, for this hoilday, I will try to do something else to fill in all my free time. Maybe catching a movie, perhaps....

But for the mean time, I will still stcik to my plan of doing leisure reading. Just now when I reached home, I went straight to the bookstore to purchase a new book "State of Fear", since I had finished up the previous 2 (Da vinci code and Angels & demons). One of my best buddy introduced me to read this book, so I hope this book is interesting as well. Others??? Well, I think I'll be spending my time in blogging..... (",)

Our Unruly Drivers...

For the past few days, I had been reaching home very late from my Factory after work. Is not that I had never punched my card at 6:30pm before, but I still took nearly 1 hour to reach home from my working place. The reasons?? Simple, yet another case of traffic congestion. I sweared that throughout my first 5 months of working, I had never endured such a congestion before. Well, I guess that maybe everyone was hurrying to go back to their house to Buka Puasa, which is why I need to endure almost 20 minutes of crawling on the road.

However, thanks much to our drivers, the condition just got worsen. It seem to me that our drivers didn't know how terrible for us to endure such a congestion. For them, they just want to break free from it, so all they do is just beyond my imagination - went into people's line without giving any signal, overtake when a condition didn't encourage them to do it, honning car in front of them, etc.... They were just making the condition worse, rather than making it a better ride home. If I was still in UNI, maybe I can still tolerate with this kind of people. However, since I had started working, I find that my patience level has been waning. Hence, whenever some car just when into my lane without given me any signal, I will just shout, "What the tu.......is the tu......is doing???" inside my car. Hmm......I began to wonder maybe the Penangites driver symptom has affected the Malaccan (Sorry Penang people, no offence.....).

The Moral Value in Our Society is Rotting

One of my factory's worker was robbed when he went to the bank yesterday. About RM 1200++ were being robbed from him. From what I heard from other workers in my company (my factory is a very pak kua type one), the victim was about to get down from his motobike when the robber just went to his back, and put an knife on his back. He didn't manage to see the face of the robber, as the robber was wearing a helmet when he was committing the crime. So, the report to the police seems to be futile.

However, what made thing worse was among the money being stolen, some of them belongs to other co-workers who ask the victim to deposit the money for her mother as Hari Raya expenditure. Asthis case happened, the co-worker no longer have any bonus to be spent for her Raya. The company salary will be release this Saturday, but it was futile too, as the ATM was being stolen as well.

I was one of the many who felt very angry of the robber for what he had done. Where is the moral value that once exist in our society. In my opinion, that jack@$$ is a selfish person, who should be punished severely if he was caught. When all of us were working hard to earn money, and wish that we could happily spent our money for the coming Raya, all he did was just steal away other hard-earned money. He has both hands and legs, he is not physically compromise, so why can't he get himself a decent job???Let's be honest....if I ever got that person, I would force him to do heavy job for one month, then never paid him his salary.....If he ever complainted, then I'll just shoot him back, "Have you ever think of those people's feeling when you just robbed their money??? That's the same thing I am doing to you"...

The point here is, our society has becoming more and more unsafe. So, next time when we when to the bank for some businesses, please be carefull, and not to let other or help others to do any transaction. The same thing might happened to you.....

Preserve the Art of Giving

I came across an interesting article on The Star today that really made me touched and proud. It about our late Datin Seri Endon's gift giving to the Prime Minister Department before Hari Raya. According to the article, our late Datin Seri had been doing so since Pak Lah ascended the Deputy Prime Minister position. And just before she left this world, she still take such a noble step to prepare the gift for this year. It really touched my heart because she still practices the art of giving even before she left this world.

According to Buddhism, the art of giving is about giving out without hoping for any return. From what the late Datin Seri had done, she was really some one who had been practicing this art for a long time. She had been giving out the gifts to all the staffs in the Prime Minister department for a long time, yet she didn't announce it to the public. If this news isn't reported in today paper, most of us wouldn't have found out how noble she was. She really make me feel proud because at least we once had such a person in this nearly self-centered society.

Our world today had become too self-centered. Most people will only help out if they get some benefit form the help they were bound to give. Take the tsunami which struck Indonesia and the other part of the world last year for instance. I was really disgusted when well-known, financial stable company can even called and asked what's the minimum amount of donation to enable them to get their company published in newspaper... What worng with the people?? Is contributing to relieve other people suffering need so much publicity??? I begin to wonder whether donations will ever come in if no publicity is given by all the newspaper. They are just a selfish lot!!!!!

However, the art of giving isn't really focus on material giving only. Buddhism enlarge the definition by stating that giving isn't only about material, but it also involve giving moral support and spiritually. The giving of advices, moral supports, encouragement, courage, and even giving of love can be included as the art of giving. So, even if we can't give any material as aform of donation, we can always lend a helping hand to them by giving out those things stated above.

So, let's us preserve the art of giving before our society become more and more self-centered. Even though less and less people now days possess this arts, but as long as there is some one out there who have this art in his/her art, there is still tommorrow for our world.........

......."Even if the world is facing with population combustion, there is still enough food for everyone, there is still enough clothes for everyone, there is still enough shelter for everyone, and there is still enough medicine for everyone......ONLY if everyone in this world are willing to give and share......" -Anonymous

Fallen for my best friend

When we ask people how they define the term "best friend", I bet that you will get various answers from different individual. However, one of the best definition that I ever heard was from a famous japanese manga, GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka). According to the main character in the manga, "....best friends are people which you will never lost in contact, no matter how long they had left each other..."

In my life, I didn't have many friends that I can considered best friends. However, I was indeed lucky that I had made a fews best friends when I was studying in USM. And I even considered of of them as my so-called "Sister". I couldn't imagine how my life will going to be if without them. Till now, i still keep in contact with them even after we graduated. Most of them are currently situated in KL, but I still keep in contact with them through e-mail, messengers, and one of them even has her own blog where I can always pip into it and read her article.

Among all my best friends, there is a person which I regards as my most best friend. Her existence really make my life wonderful. I would say that it must be fate that brought both of us together. During my stay in USM, we almost had word's war each time we both started talking. The between us sometimes even made our coursemates think that we were couples. Most of the time, we just rubbished out the idea, and stressed that we were just mere good friend. However, for me, the word's war has some how become a part of my life, where my life will feel empty whenever I didn't had the war with her.

Besides that, she was always there for me whenever I was down on earth. She always plays my counsellor when I was facing with problem, be a good listener and listened to my grunts, and alwayz advice me not to give up in my life. I was indeed blessed to have her in my life.

However, deep in my heart, I had started to develop special feeling towards this best friend of mine. When I started to have this feeling towards her, I asked myself a question, "Why I didn't noticed such a perfect girl that is always beside me?" Maybe that moment, both of us just thought that the way we treated each other were just what a good friend would do. I was very surprised, yet a bit happy when one of my best friend told me last week that from her observation, she can see that me and the girl had a mutual feeling towards each other. I guess that the only reason that both of us didn't said it out is because we were too bounded to the freindship relation that time

Now, all I can do is to leave everything to fate. My mum once told me that if it is fated to be yours, then it will be yours, no matter how long it will take, be it 10 years or 20 years. So, the only thing that I can do now is just keep in contact with her, and let fate decide on it. Any how, I'll wait patiently for that day to arrive
